Definitions that avoid ambiguous interpretations about our acoustic panels, measurements, and responsibilities.
The NRC (Noise Reduction Coefficient) is an average absorption across four frequencies (250, 500, 1000, and 2000 Hz). It does not represent the panel's behavior at extreme low or high frequencies. For recording studios or control rooms, we recommend consulting the data per octave band.
No. The STC (Sound Transmission Class) is measured in a laboratory under controlled conditions. On site, the final result depends on the type of mounting, perimeter sealing, joints, and support structure. Bassbloc does not guarantee the final STC if the installation does not follow our technical specifications.
The warranty covers manufacturing defects in the material for 24 months from delivery. It does not include damage from moisture, impact, incorrect installation, or subsequent modifications. The claim must be submitted with the corresponding batch number and invoice.
No. Online tools offer preliminary estimates based on generic models. For critical projects (studios, meeting rooms, auditoriums), an on-site measurement and an acoustic project signed by a qualified professional are required. Bassbloc is not responsible for decisions made solely with the calculator.
Quotes issued by our platform correspond only to the value of the material and packaging. Freight, installation, and additional hardware are quoted separately. Consult with your commercial advisor for a comprehensive budget.
